New Product: Quick-connect fittings

Nov. 8, 2007
The XQC Series of quick-connect fittings with integral shutoff valves feature an ergonomic grip and convenient release button for ease of use.

The fittings are made from acetal copolymer resin and interchange with many button-type plastic or metal couplings and fittings. The devices are resistant to ethylene oxide and common autoclave sterilization procedures.

A single barb design balances freedom from leaks and minimizes assembly effort with increased tubing pull-off resistance without external clamps or adhesives. Buna-N O-ring seals provide long life and repeated connectdisconnect cycles. Available integral shutoff valves stop flow at disconnect in one motion.

Four straight-through configurations incorporating shutoff valves are available in sizes to fit 1/4 and 3/8-in. ID flexible tubing. Additional shutoff and open flow options in straight, panel-mount and elbow styles will soon be available.
