New Product: No hall sensor brushless-dc drive

Nov. 8, 2007
The Decs 50/5 controller drives brushless-dc motors without Hall sensors.

Input voltage ranges from 10 to 50 Vdc with an output current of 5 A for a maximum power of 250 W on about the size of a business card. Speed is set via an onboard potentiometer or external analog value. The drive can handle motors up to 80,000 rpm. Other inputs select motor direction, enable, and braking. An LED display shows operating status and an output monitors speed. Plug-in screw terminals and Flexprint connector for Maxon flat motors are available.
