Miniature Guideways in Long Lenghts

Feb. 17, 2005
Minirail precision linear guideways come in four standard sizes 7, 9, 12, and 15, and in wide sizes 14, 18, 24, and 42.

Lengths range from 740 to 950 mm, depending on size. Two accuracy grades and two preload categories are available.

The two-row miniature guideways of stainless steel use an advanced ball-retainer design that prevents balls from falling out, simplifying installation and maintenance. A large number of loadbearing balls support high loads and torque. Carriages include lubrication ports and wipers on each end to expel contaminants and help retain lubricant. Minirail guideways are capable of 5-m/sec speeds and accelerations to 300 m/sec2. Typical operating temperature range is ?40 to 80°C with short-term excursions to 120°C. Applications for Minirail guideways include microelectronics, semiconductor, metrology, automation, medical/ pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.
