Mini PCs Have Industrial Look

Sept. 16, 2004
C63xx mini-format control cabinet PCs are full industrial PCs measuring only 3.7 x 7.7 x 8.9 in.
The base units are the C6320 and 6330; the C6325 and C6335 are fanless designs with heat fins; the C6340 and C6350 have extra PCI expansion slots. This mini PC can handle PLC tasks and also offers all operating and communication options of a modern PC by means of Intel Celeron or Pentium III processors and Beckhoff TwinCAT software. The internal chassis is removable for configuration and maintenance and the PC is designed to be fully operational when the chassis is removed. All PC connections are located on one side. A flash card can be integrated as the memory medium where rotating media is impractical. Units equipped with a Pentium III can execute 1,000 lines of PLC code in less than 25 m sec. All versions have DVI and USB interfaces to connect to control panels.
