Micropower LDO Regulator

June 2, 2005
The LT3014 uses input voltages of 3 to 80-V regulating output voltages from 1.22 to 60 V at 20 mA with a low dropout of 350 mV.

The device has a quiescent current of 7- A operating and 1- A shutdown. The LT3014HV version withstands 100-V input-voltage transients for 2-msec duration. Internal circuitry includes reverse-battery protection, current and thermal limiting, and reverse-current protection. The LT3014EDD and LT3014ES5 standard versions and the corresponding LT3014HVEDD and LT3014HVES5 high-voltage versions are available in an eight-lead 3 3-mm DFN package and a five-lead ThinSOT-23 package.
