The Model MICS-5NE high-speed electrical micro clutch features four micro instrument ball bearings — two in the field side and two in the injection-molded MXL timing pulley — in place of bushings. Side load capacity has been increased as well. The armature's wave spring has been replaced with a thin permanent-magnet disc that disengages the armature plate when power is off. The clutches come in three body sizes in torques of 2, 4, and 7 lb-in. Available options include custom pulleys, voltages, connectors, and lead-wire terminations.
