Sept. 15, 2005
DryLin W linear-guide systems are linear bearings and slides with plastic glide elements.

It is said to be lightweight, self-lubricating, maintenance-free, and contaminant resistant. Overall height is 14 mm, and units are available with two supported round shafts in one profile, in a split-rail configuration, or with square rails. The slides, comprised of two or four gliding carriages, are made of low-cost, pressure die-cast zinc. Slides can be spaced at 100, 150, or 200 mm. DryLin W is well suited for automation, packaging, textile, machine-tool, printing, and medical applications. DryLin linear guide systems can replace recirculating ball bearings due to their maintenance-free, oil-free, and self-lubricating operation.
