Laser Sensors Detect Small Objects At Long Range

May 20, 2004
World-Beam QS30 Series LLP sensors feature a small, tightly collimated laser beam of 4 mm or less, allowing for precise sensing at ranges to 60 ft.

LLPC sensors can detect targets smaller than the sensing beam. Both sensors have two discrete inputs (150 mA each), an eightsegment LED that shows its status during setup and operation, and a visible Class-1 laser for high sensing power and accuracy. Pushbutton programming eases setup. Units may be manually set using integrated pushbuttons or by cable, which can also be used to disable the pushbuttons to prevent tampering.
