The milling head of the DMU 60 L combined milling-laser machine cuts material with high precision. The laser head, which is in the same machine setup, remachines and finishes small details or inscriptions. Rapid traverse rates are 18 m/min for the X, 18 m/min for the Y, and 15 m/min for Z. Feedrate is 15,000 mm/min, and speed goes to 12,000 rpm. Laser output is 100 W with a 0.1- m beam width.
