Integral Bushing And Stud Shaft Wheels

Oct. 20, 2005
DualVee integral bushing (BWI) and stud shaft (SWI) wheels feature a one-piece design where the wheel bearing inner raceway is ground into the wheel bushing or wheel stud shaft.

Advantages of the one-piece design compared to the conventional two-piece guide wheels (wheels with separate bushing or journals) include lower profile and increased rigidity, larger diameter fasteners, less tolerance stack-up, external adjustment and tightening, and lower procurement and installation costs. DualVee wheels come in carbon-steel, stainless steel, and polymer-overmolded stainlesssteel construction.
