Immersion probes with connectors handle rapid temperature cycling, humidity, vibration, and mechanical shock. The probes consists of an NTC thermistor in a brass screw-in housing. The connector is crimped/cold-rolled into the housing, eliminating potting resins. Various thread types are available. The probes are for measuring oil, fuel, coolant, water, and air temperature in applications like engine control, automotive and off-road data acquisition, industrial process control, and boiler control.
