Flow sensor also reports temperature

Dec. 8, 2005
A programmable DRO (digital read out) flow sensor monitors flow and temperature of fluids such as water and glycol.
The units monitor changes in flow between 0.2 and 12 gpm and are available with a transistor, relay, or analog output. They feature visible, three-digit displays that show for rate or media temperature. In addition to an adjustable on and off delay feature, the DRO lets users program setpoints. An adjustable filter smooths erratic flows. The design uses 316 stainless steel for wetted parts. This solid-state device has no parts in the flow path so it does not trap debris.
