Fitment Enhances Liquid-Dispensing Systems

Jan. 12, 2006
The Disposable Universal Dispensing Coupler (DUDC) baginbox fitment enhances the safety and reliability of liquiddispensingsystems.

A nonspill feature eliminates costly spills and a foil seal protects contents and provides evidence of possible tampering. The system features IdentiQuik, an RFID tag incorporated in the closure. Before the final connection of the body and insert is made, the IdentiQuik DUDC automatically exchanges product data to help prevent misconnections. Benefits of this information include brand integrity, improved quality control, and automatic calibration of dispensing equipment. The DUDC has an easy-to-use thumb latch with an audible click to ensure a secure connection has been made. Fitment materials include polypropylene, FDA, Buna, EPDM, silicone seals, and 316 stainless-steel springs.
