Continuous-Flex Cables

Dec. 14, 2006
Chainflex CF.INI cables are designed for use in cable-carrier systems on automation machinery.

The cable's outer jacket is extruded over the conductors for a tight fit. The cables have an extremely tight bend radius of five times the outer diameter, the result of the thin-wall design of both the conductor insulation and outer jacket. The insulation and jacket are flexible, antiabrasive thermoplastic polymer containing fire retardants. A nonporous TPE outer jacket provides chemical resistance. Operating temperature range is –31 to 212°F. The low-profile, overmolded thermal-plastic connector body with integral strain relief is sealed to prevent leaking. The connectors come in straight or right-angle configurations.
