D32LT is a compact, flexible PLC from Cutler-Hammer, Pittsburgh, that features PIC loop control, a real-time clock, two programloader ports, MODBUS support, and ladder memory. It supports from two to eight I/O modules in one system using a backplane and module structure. With 16 and 32-point digital I/O, a single system provides up to 256 digital I/O points. D32LT is available with typical I/O ports and modules including 24 Vdc, 115 Vac, and relays. Analog modules come in 0 to 10 V and 4 to 20 mA, as well as RTD and thermocouple. The 24-bit, 100-kHz high-speed counter module provides pulse outputs for simple positioning control, and the serial communications module lets users connect ASCII devices such as bar codes and printers.
