The Advantage 810 CNC system from Delta Tau, Chatsworth, Calif., uses a Pentium II with an ATX motherboard and a 15-in. SVGA flat-panel monitor to deliver an easy-to-integrate controller for both OEM and retrofit applications. The unit controls up to 32 axes, and setup has been simplified through use of fiber-optic or USB interface cables that connect the 810 to UMAC and QMAC controller systems from Delta Tau. The 810's design also eliminates ribbon connectors, address switch configurations, and e-point jumper settings.
