SKF names Poul Jeppesen president of North America
Poul Jeppesen, currently president of SKF USA Inc., has been appointed President, SKF North America with responsibility for Canada, Mexico, and the USA. Jeppesen has held several management positions in sales, marketing, product management, and manufacturing since joining the company in 1982. He also serves as a Board of Director for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the American Bearing Manufacturers Association (ABMA).
LORD Corp. offers bond failure seminar
LORD Corp., Cary, N.C., will hold a Chemlok Adhesives troubleshooting and bond failure seminar on May 18 in Arlington, Tex. Topics include an adhesives overview, proper substrate preparation and adhesive application, as well as troubleshooting and bond failure. Jeff Means and Brian Stull, both from LORD's Elastomer Adhesives and Coatings Technology Group, will serve as speakers for the seminar. Rockwell Automation names new leaders
The board of directors of Rockwell Automation Inc., Milwaukee, has elected new corporate officers to lead the company's operating segments effective April 1. Blake Moret is promoted to senior vice president of the Control Products and Solutions segment, while Frank Kulaszewicz is promoted to senior vice president of the Architecture and Software segment. Both positions report to chairman and CEO Keith Nosbusch.
