Analog Proximity Sensor

March 8, 2007
The AccuProx analog proximity sensor detects objects up to 25 mm away, four times the range of shielded and unshielded tubular analog sensors without compromising output accuracy.

Typical applications include error-proofing, part positioning, and detection of saw blades, material blemishes, and absolute angles. Sensor output varies proportionately to the position of metals within its sensing range. AccuProx sensors can sense ferrous and nonferrous metals, including steel, aluminum, and copper. The sensors come with both current and voltage outputs and shielded and unshielded models are available in 12, 18, and 30-mm tubular barrels with various connection options.
