The Skyflex family of aerospace materials now includes preformed gaskets for multiface aircraft applications, such as hole liners, flange joints, fastener seals, and galley or rest-room hard-mounts. The lightweight, nonhazardous gaskets ensure continuous protection between flat interfaces, around chamfers, and inside a component’s mounting hole. The gaskets, made from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), last longer without hardening or becoming brittle. They isolate dissimilar materials, significantly reducing galvanic corrosion and increase component life.

The material requires no curing time, reducing downtime and facilitating replacement.
