Italian fluid power exhibition reflects strong industry growth A robust 2007 sets the backdrop for the 2008 edition of Fluidtrans Compomac - Biennial International Exhibition of Fluid Power, Power and Motion Transmission, Drive, Control Equipment and Industrial Design- May 27 to 30, at fieramilano, Rho., Milan, Italy. The show, in its 41st year, will reflect the strength in the industry, with year-to-end estimates showing widespread growth. A quarterly business survey based on a sample of fluid power companies and conducted by the Italian Association of Hydraulics and Pneumatics Manufacturers (Assofluid) confirms the overall positive trend. According to the survey, midterm results for 2007, compared with results over the same period in 2006, show a strong increase in sales across the board. Vigorous performance in all branches of activity indicates that the market is on the upturn and very likely to proceed into the second half of the year to end.
